
Since quitting smoking, I've definitely been craving sweets a lot more. I'm trying to compensate with them. I catch myself fairly often throughout the day wanting to go out to the terrace to have a smoke — I realize I can't, but I still have this urge to do something. And then reaching for the fridge isn't far off. Unfortunately, I'm also buying too much of that stuff at the moment. I've already put on a little weight because of it, and that happens fast.
I've continued working on improvements to the site, fixed a few more bugs, and also built a kind of meal planner. The idea: the evening before a new day, I create my meals in the tool — meaning what I want to eat at which meal. I'll then automatically get notified on my phone and watch about what I should buy or eat according to the plan.
I don't know if this will actually help. I have hundreds of ideas like this every day — most of them lead nowhere, but some do help me. The proof is in the pudding.
